Description
Reproductive justice, economic justice, climate change, racial justice, ecofeminism and the Supreme Court. It’s all so much more intertwined and indivisible than ever before. And yet, there are pockets of resistance even though it’s so clear that the writing is on the wall as to the social, political and economic benefits of equity. In this episode we speak with Anika Rahman, attorney and Chief Board Relations at the National Resources Defense Council. Anika speaks about power dynamics and power of identity as currency and in relationships. We expire the role that attorneys, scientists and policy makers play in advocating as change activists and importance of staying strategic — focusing on your mandate and mission, and yet being able to be innovative and flexible.
