About Roger

Roger Saks has been in the financial services industry for 28 years and has been passionate about investing since he was a child. With Stifel since 2015, Roger emphasizes comprehensive wealth planning for entrepreneurs, family businesses, executives, and financial professionals.

Roger began his professional career at Goldman Sachs in 1992. At Goldman, Roger focused on bonds and worked in the fixed income division, holding positions in several areas including investment banking, corporate bond trading, and mortgage and asset backed bond sales. In 2001, Roger joined Lehman Brothers to focus on equities and worked directly with hedge funds in sourcing investment ideas and portfolio risk management. Roger moved to Barclays in 2008 and focused on Wealth Management for high net worth individuals, family offices, and mid-sized companies.

Roger graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Economics in 1992 from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He holds the FINRA Series 3, 7, 9, 10, 55, 63, and 66 licenses.

Roger lives in Bergen County, New Jersey with his wife, four children, and two dogs. Philanthropically, Roger is active with several organizations that promote education and career opportunities for disadvantaged youth. Roger is an avid downhill skier and passionate spectator of professional and amateur soccer.
