Length: 60 Minutes

Description

In this episode, we speak with Nandika Madgavkar on how Corporate Social Responsibility has evolved from an initiative-specific model to an interwoven strategic framework tied closely to a company’s mission, vision purpose … and the bottom line. Founded by Paul Newman in 1999, we learn about the work of Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose, where sustainability, inclusion and profitability merge to redefine social impact. We discuss the state of corporate purpose and how shifting priorities and policies drive a new heightened sene of performance metrics, and how companies that are dedicated to doing better in the world are faced with managing the complex nature of shareholder expectations while serving diverse employees, customers and communities at large.
