We speak with Lynn Greenberg, the co-founder and CEO of Pivt, an app helping movers and travelers make any city feel like home. Lynn shares her story of being an expat in London, where excitement of a new culture was often mixed with uncomfortableness, confusion and loneliness. She shares her experience of solving her own problem — social isolation — and using that as an opportunity to discover white space in the market to help others. We discuss staying ahead of the competition, the red tape that is often tied to innovation and technology, and the importance of staying close to your customer. About Lynn
Lynn is the Co-Founder and CEO of Pivt, the app for people moving and traveling to help make any city feel like home. She is also a Board Member and the VP of Panels for the New York Venture Community (NYVC). In addition to being a Mentor at Women in Business at Yeshiva University, Lynn is also an Advisor and Mentor at Astia, a curated, global community of experts committed to the success of world class women-led, high-growth startups. Lynn is also a frequent panelist and startup judge at various events, including FundingPost at SXSW.
Prior, Lynn worked as a Senior Associate at Autonomy Ventures, where she procured deal-flow, managed teams, and drove value creation of portfolio companies. Previously, Lynn worked at Bloomberg LP in London.
Lynn was recently awarded StrtupBoost’s NYC 33 Under 33 award for her efforts towards Pivt and social media. Lynn has been featured in publications like the London Evening Standard.
