About Lisa

It’s an interesting thing to be calm in the eye of the storm. To be able to perform better in chaos, under pressure, with high stakes, over everyday predictability.

Lisa is that person. Her life consistently put her under pressure. In sports, as a top ranked junior tennis player, the lone female on an all-boys little league, playing first base nonetheless, and as a lifelong distance runner.

Lisa worked for celebrities designing and producing events, and managed Martha Stewart’s events program. She’s worked in publishing and finance on deadline and negotiating deals. She traveled the world solo, often to dangerous places nobody advised she go alone. In her personal life, Lisa lost everything in a total loss house fire, and her marriage was marked by abuse. The way Lisa navigated highs and lows, and unpredictable change, including raising three children solo, is something people that know Lisa could hardly comprehend.

Lisa explains the challenges led her to see how she could help people on a large scale, consistently pushing the limits of what can be done as a person in life.

Life is complicated. Lisa takes the vast amount of experience and information she has, and whittles it down to practices to help people navigate change and disruption. She speaks of key skills needed, and how to develop them. She’s keen on practices that help ground and nurture a person at a base level to have a strong foundation from which to deal with life’s unknowns.

Lisa is an idealist and dreamer, and inspirer. With a strong hospitality and helping bent, Lisa says her job is to help bring joy and meaning to people’s lives, celebrating the steps along the way, including the hard ones.
